Süwag Energie Youth Cup – Licensed Youth Races U11–U17
The Süwag Energie Youth Cup offers licensed young club riders a fantastic opportunity to compete on an attractive circuit in downtown Frankfurt. Participants in the U11 to U17 categories complete several laps (depending on age group) of the course. In 2025, the races were once again held on the large 6.6 km circuit used by the elite riders in the race finale. The start and finish are located at the elite race’s finish line on Bockenheimer Anlage near Opernplatz.
For Süwag, May 1st has long been associated with this major sporting event. The energy service provider combines two of its core goals here: supporting children and youth, and engaging with the local community.
The Pros of Tomorrow at the Radklassiker
This year, young cyclists competed again in four different age categories. On the circuit around the Alte Oper—where the elite riders later battle for victory—they gained their first racing experience and showed what they are capable of.
- Baltasar Waldmüller and Josefine Wendel won the U17 race.
- In the U15 category, Linus Sturm and Helena Herzig came out on top.
- Erik Dambacher took the victory in the U13 race.
- And in the U11 category, Pepe Reinhardt emerged as the winner.
