2026 EDITION

With its traditional date on May 1st, Eschborn-Frankfurt is a fixture in the UCI WorldTour calendar. In the transition from the spring monuments to the national tours, it presents a showdown between classic specialists and the sprinting elite.

New Course, New Dynamics: The German Classic 2026

Eschborn-Frankfurt 2026 raises the bar with a significantly tougher course. The UCI WorldTour race will now cover 210 kilometers and more than 3,300 meters of elevation – making it the most demanding edition in race history. Two ascents of the Feldberg via its steeper southwest side, a decisive double climb at the Mammolshainer Stich, and the debut of the brutally steep “Burgweg” climb turn the Taunus into a tactical battleground and a fan hotspot. A new starting area in Eschborn adds to the fresh setup, reinforcing: May 1st remains a cycling celebration – for pros, fans, and families alike.
