More Movement
More physical activity is an important part of a healthy and active lifestyle—especially in a dynamic region such as Eschborn and Frankfurt. Between work, commuting, and urban life, physical activity often falls by the wayside. This makes it all the more important to consciously incorporate movement into everyday life.
Whether on the way to work, during a lunch break, or in your free time, even small changes can make a big difference to your health and well-being. Our goal is to motivate people in Eschborn and Frankfurt to become more active and to establish physical activity as a regular part of their daily routine.

Inclusion Race – VGF “Everyone Rides”
The cycling classic is a celebration of diversity—on and off the course. With the VGF – Everyone Rides Together – Inclusion Race, we send a strong message in support of participation and community in sport. In 2025, for the tenth time, students with and without disabilities crossed the finish line together in front of the Alte Oper.
The race takes place on the same course where, shortly afterwards, the professional riders sprint for victory. Tandem teams, educational support staff, and the applause of spectators make this event a special experience for everyone involved. The Inclusion Race has become an integral part of Eschborn–Frankfurt and demonstrates how accessible formats can make sport available to all. It is a powerful example of inclusion and cooperation on equal terms.

Eintracht Frankfurt Welthungerhilfe Racing Team
Ride together – help together: The Eintracht Frankfurt Welthungerhilfe Racing Team demonstrates how sporting commitment and social responsibility go hand in hand.
As part of the ADAC Velotour, cyclists take part in the charity team in support of Welthungerhilfe. With a minimum donation of €15, each participant contributes to the global fight against hunger—and the event adds another €15 on top. In this way, every kilometre ridden becomes a symbol of solidarity.
Whether riding competitively or at a more relaxed pace, the team brings together participants of all ability levels and serves as a powerful example of how the Sustainable Sports Collective creates a positive impact far beyond the region.
ADAC Velotour – Mass Participation Event
The ADAC Velotour, part of the Eschborn–Frankfurt cycling classic, offers a special experience for all cycling enthusiasts every year on May 1st. On fully closed roads, amateur riders have the unique opportunity to experience the professional race course themselves—from Eschborn through downtown Frankfurt to the region’s demanding climbs.
Whether beginners or ambitious recreational cyclists: with various route lengths and a unique atmosphere, the event combines sporting challenge with a true event character. The ADAC Velotour thus stands for movement, community, and unforgettable moments on two wheels in the heart of the Rhine-Main region.

Bike Academy by kinder joy of moving
The Bike Academy by kinder Joy of Moving is a school project of the Eschborn–Frankfurt cycling classic that introduces children in grades 1 to 6 at Frankfurt schools to the safe handling of bicycles. The focus is on the joy of movement and learning together.
In various modules, the children playfully practice basic skills such as safe braking, steering, and balance—while also discovering the joy of cycling in everyday life. In this way, physical activity is encouraged and important road safety skills are taught.
