Route

The ŠKODA Velotour as part of the German Classic Eschborn-Frankfurt will be held on three routes in 2023: the ŠKODA Velotour Taunus Classic (103 km), ŠKODA Velotour Taunus Express (92 km) and the ŠKODA Velotour Skyline (40km). In addition, the ŠKODA Velotour Ride will come into focus, offering hobby cyclists the unique opportunity to start in their own starting block without timekeeping on 40 closed-off kilometres.

Route

3 Courses for Beginners as well as ambitious Riders:

The long route, ŠKODA Velotour Taunus Classic, runs over 103 kilometres and is a true classic. 1700 metres of altitude difference are spread over the course, which is also used by the professionals in the German Classic. Legendary climbs such as Feldberg and Mammolshainer Stich included.

You want to save the Mammolshainer Stich for next year, but still experience the classic Feldberg? Then the ŠKODA Velotour Taunus Express is just right for you. You will experience 1450 metres of altitude on 92 kilometres.

For beginners, whether into cycling or into the season, the ŠKODA Velotour Skyline is the perfect experience. 40 almost completely flat kilometres between Eschborn and Frankfurt give you the opportunity to get a taste of the racing circus. An impressive city tour through Frankfurt's urban canyons, the Taunus municipality of Oberursel and the beautiful Taunus region guarantee an ideal Raceday.

*Those who register by 02.04.2023 have the opportunity to pick up their personalized race number between 20. and 29.04.2023 at Fahrrad Denfeld (Urseler Str. 67, 61348 Bad Homburg vor der Höhe). All participants who register after that date must pick up their race number on 30.04. or 01.05. at the event site.

Dear cyclists,

In addition to an impressive route and a unique atmosphere, the ŠKODA Velotour offers you a very special campaign again this year as part of the German Classic: as in previous years, you can combine cycling and doing good! Deutsche Welthungerhilfe (German Agro Action) will once again be at the start of the Velotour between Taunus and Main with the Eintracht Frankfurt Triathlon Team to the start in the fight against hunger. Cycle side by side with the boys and girls from Eintracht and give hunger the cold shoulder! Be part of it!

The participation fee in the Eintracht Frankfurt Welthungerhilfe Racing Team depends on the registration period:

In addtition to your regstration fee you will be able to pay a donation amount of your choice.

The standard donation per registration is 15€. The donation amount can optionally be increased in 15€ steps.

As the organiser, the Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Radsports, will double your donation, at least 30€ of the entry fee will go directly to the project work of Welthungerhilfe. As one of the largest aid organisations in Germany, Welthungerhilfe has been committed to a world without hunger and poverty for over 60 years. The approximately 400 projects in over 40 different countries pursue a clear goal: to eradicate hunger by 2030!

Awarded several times for its transparency  your donation is guaranteed to be in good hands with Welthungerhilfe and contributes to enabling people worldwide to live in dignity.
